Broccoli Ramen Slaw

When invited to a social event or reunion, you are faced with the daunting task of trying to decide what dish to make. Well have I got the perfect one that pairs well with most anything and calls for an ingredient that most of us already know and love….Ramen Noodles!

This yummy dish is Broccoli Ramen Slaw. It can be made well in advance or just before the event and the preparation could not be more simple.

This slaw has all of the elements of a well balanced dish because it is both sweet and savory and it has the most amazing crunch. It honestly could be eaten as a meal by itself because it is just that darn good!

Broccoli Ramen Slaw

Broccoli Ramen Slaw

This yummy dish is Broccoli Ramen Slaw. It can be made well in advance or just before the event and the preparation could not be more simple.

Ingredients

  • 2 Packages of Chicken Flavor Ramen Noodles
  • 2 Packages of Broccoli Coleslaw Mix
  • 1/2 Bunch of Green Onions (Chopped)
  • 1 Cup Sunflower Seeds Kernels
  • 1 Cup Slivered Almonds
  • 1/3 Cup White Vinegar
  • 3/4 Cup Oil
  • 1.2 Cup Sugar

Instructions

  1. Before opening noodles, crush into 1 inch pieces. Open packages and set aside flavor packets.
  2. Place noodles in bottom of large serving bowl. Top noodles with broccoli slaw, then sprinkle with almond slivers and sunflower kernels, and green onions.
  3. In a separate bowl combine sugar, oil, vinegar and flavor packets from noodles. Pour over slaw, cover and chill up to 24 hours.
  4. Toss before serving.
